The last Repair Café before the summer break in the rooms of the Free Evangelical Congregation on Bahnhofplatz will take place this Saturday.
Germering - According to Pastor Thomas Scheitacker, visitors are still not offered drinks and cakes because of the corona regulations that are still in force: "We continue to work behind closed doors according to the click and collect principle." to be there for the people.
It is necessary that the guests register on the homepage of the Repair-Café (https://germering.feg.de/RepairCafe/) by Friday, July 30th at the latest. In addition to the contact details, you have to specify which device it is and describe the defect. Electrical appliances, bicycles, wooden objects, items of clothing and computers are repaired, although only hardware repairs are carried out for the latter. Defective printers will not be accepted.
If the item to be repaired is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email as a reply. In this case, you can bring it to the Free Evangelical Congregation at Bahnhofplatz 10 on Saturday, July 31, between 1pm and 2pm. It can then be picked up between 4.30pm and 5pm. In the meantime, the team of volunteers tries to do its best to repair anything that is broken. As always, repairs are free. If you still want to donate something, you can do so when you pick it up. Updated information about the Repair Café can always be found on the Repair Café's homepage.
