Macabre discovery in Lachapelle-sous-Chaux, a small town of 700 inhabitants located a few kilometers north of Belfort.
Tuesday, July 27, the lifeless bodies of a couple in their sixties were discovered in an isolated house in the town, we learned Wednesday from a police source, confirming information from

It is a relative of the couple who found the two bodies while going to visit him in the middle of the afternoon.
The latter immediately gave the alert.
According to the first observations of the gendarmes, the two victims would have been shot dead as well as their two dogs, which were also found on the spot.
The couple's closest neighbors, residents about 500 meters from their house, reportedly saw and heard nothing.

An investigation was opened by the prosecution and entrusted to the gendarmes of Belfort.
At this stage, all the assumptions are exploited and the investigators do not seem to favor any scenario.
