To encourage young people to be vaccinated, the prefect of Hérault has set up an original seduction operation.
Young people aged 18 to 25 whose first injection will take place between August 1 and August 15 will thus be able to benefit from commercial gestures in the 31 shops in the department which have responded to the prefect's call.

Among the establishments participating in the operation are cinemas, places of leisure or culture as well as several restaurants. Vaccinated young people will also have free access to the entire Pays de l'Or agglomeration bus network. Another example, two discotheques offer a limited volume of free entries. To benefit from it, the newly vaccinated will however have to remember to present a negative PCR or antigen test in accordance with the health pass obligation in force, until they receive their second dose. The restaurants offer discounts on menus or operations allowing young people to obtain a free pizza or a free menu.
Similar promotional operations have already been set up by some local players. The town hall of Argenteuil had organized a competition game to encourage young people to be vaccinated. Likewise, a raffle targeting young people between the ages of 18 and 25 had been set up in Nîmes.
