“All three personalities are role models!” High awards for three people from the Dachau district

- Daniel Stöckel received the Medal of Merit of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Alwin Brenner was awarded the Medal of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and Michaela Micheli received the Rescue Medal on Ribbon of the State of Schleswig-Holstein.

In a small circle and in front of the guests of honor Katrin Staffler, Michael Schrodi, both members of the German Bundestag, and Bernhard Seidenath, constituency member in the state parliament, District Administrator Stefan Löwl solemnly presented the three personalities with their medals of merit.

Daniel Stöckel

from Karlsfeld receives the Medal of Merit of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany on behalf of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier for his tireless and almost lifelong commitment to nature conservation.

He looks after nature in and around Karlsfeld almost daily and intensively.

He is the biotope keeper in Krenmoos and responsible for the Dannerwiese in the Schwarzhölzl nature reserve.

■ Alwin Brenner

from Markt Indersdorf receives the Medal of Merit of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany on behalf of and on behalf of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. For more than 40 years he has been intensively involved in judo; especially with the so-called "ID-Judo (Intellectual Disability Judo)" for people with an intellectual disability. He always inspires his fellow human beings for his work with people with disabilities and is considered a figurehead for the German judo sport in the international ID judo event.

■ Michaela Micheli

from Kleinberghofen was awarded the Rescue Medal on Ribbon of the State of Schleswig-Holstein on behalf of Daniel Günther, Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein (CDU). Micheli saved the life of a drowning woman in the rough Baltic Sea last summer. She kept her head clear and, together with a helper, pulled the motionless woman out of the sea. The woman could only be saved through her courageous efforts (we have reported).

District Administrator Stefan Löwl thanked the three people warmly: “It is a pleasure and I am proud to know what outstanding commitment, what passion and what special achievements are made by the citizens of our district.
