In an outdoor swimming pool in Amberg, a 13-year-old died after jumping from a three-meter board.
The police have started the investigation.
Amberg - A fatal tragedy took place on Thursday afternoon (July 29th) in an Amberg outdoor pool.
A 13-year-old was killed on the facility after jumping from the three-meter board into the pool.
According to the police, the accident occurred around 1:05 p.m.

Shortly after the jump, the youngster suddenly lay motionless on the floor of the diving pool in the Hockermühlbad in the southwest of the Upper Palatinate city.
Several swimming guests rushed to the aid and pulled the boy out of the water.
He was also able to be resuscitated on site and taken to a hospital.
However, the 13-year-old, who is said to come from the Amberg-Sulzbach district, died there.
Further information was not known at first.
The Kripo has started the investigation into the tragic incident.
