The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa Governorate seized today a pickle factory on the Damascus-Dara highway, violating the presence of mold on the pressed cucumbers.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa, Eng. Hamidi Al-Khalil, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the seized quantity is estimated at 600 kilograms of production from previous years, packed in drums for recycling again.
Al-Khalil explained that the consumer protection patrols organized the necessary control against the violator and referred the seizure to the competent judiciary, with the factory closed administratively.
