Washington, SANA- Synchron Corporation has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration to begin testing fibers

Washington-Sana

Synchron has received FDA approval to begin testing smart brain fibers in humans.

And the Engadget technical website quoted in a report, "The American company has obtained the green light for clinical trials on humans that will begin at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and include 6 cases to evaluate its effectiveness and safety in paralyzed patients."

These smart fibers will benefit patients who suffer from paralysis or amputation of their limbs by reactivating the nerves of the limbs through these electronic devices.

The American company will also conduct other experiments in Australia on people who use prosthetic devices or have implanted limbs, but they need those devices to transmit signals from the motor cortex in the brain to the prosthetic devices so that they can control their limbs easily through their thoughts as if they were natural limbs.

Through these fibers, people can perform extraordinary new tasks such as controlling computers, completing work-related tasks, sending text messages or emails, or doing banking and shopping online by simply controlling their thoughts.
