The plastic artists participating in an exhibition of painting and sculpture on wood, hosted by the 7th of April Hall in the Quneitra Culture Directorate, dedicated their paintings to the spirit of the late artist Ayesh Tahimer.

The exhibition, which was organized by the Directorate of Culture in cooperation with the branch of the Union of Fine Artists in the governorate, included many paintings, sculptures and pictures about the occupied Syrian Golan.

In an interview with SANA, the plastic artist Aksam Talaa indicated that the exhibition came as a token of loyalty to the spirit of the artist, Tahimer Ibn al-Golan, who carried the issue of this precious spot in his mind and heart to Arab and international forums to express through his paintings the components of the Golan from the place, nature and environment in which he lived his childhood and his sanctuary. It is the Zionist occupation, with a professionalism and a high sense of nostalgia and longing for those places.

In turn, the artist, Muhammad Abu Khaled, explained that he participated in a sculpture consisting of a polyester portrait of a face from the Golan, a tribute to our steadfast people, indicating that the face is black to indicate the color of the basalt stone that characterizes this land.
