Today, as part of the activities of the third day of the Citadel and Valley Festival, “Victory Celebration,” a public party was held in the town square of Anaz, which was revived by artists Tim Najjar and Muhammad Ali, and in honor of the wounded of the Syrian Arab Army and allied forces, in the presence of civil, popular and official events.

In a statement to SANA's correspondent, Faisal Gharbi, one of the party's organizers, that the town of Anaz and the people of the valley used to participate in this festival annually, and it embodies the meanings of victory and joy and gives a message to all expatriates to return to the bosom of the homeland.

The honored wounded, Hassan Al-Ghurab, Bashar Ramadan and Mamdouh Jamal, said that honoring for them is an honor and dignity and a cause of pride and pride, and it is a good gesture by people who knew the value of the homeland and the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army for it.

Among the attendees, Salam Malouhi and Jamil Issa, from the town of Anaz, expressed their happiness with the atmosphere of joy that pervaded the various villages of the valley during the festival, pointing out that it has become an annual tradition awaited by the people.

On the street of restaurants in Marmarita, a concert was held by the artist, Mirna Malouhi, with a remarkable public presence.

Somaya al-Khouli confirmed that she regularly attends the festival, which witnesses the organization of distinguished artistic, cultural and sports events that give a civilized image of Syria, while Rima Attia called for attention to these events as they shed light on the tourist areas in Syria.

In a related context, the activities of the third day included a sports marathon in which 800 male and female players of different age groups took part, starting from Ain Al-Agouz Junction towards Al-Hawash University Square with a distance of 3 km.

The head of the General Sports Union branch in Homs, Faisal Al-Darbi, indicated that the marathon was attended by all the clubs of the province, and he confirms the support of Homs athletes to all activities that show the political and civilized face of Syria.

The first-place winner, Assem Al-Talib, from Al-Karama Club, and the second-place winner, Noureddine Al-Saleh, from Al-Nasr National Club, pointing out the importance of these sporting events and that the aim of participation is to achieve competitiveness among all players and attract the public in the valley.
