Bennett to decide today on Corona's third vaccine: "Formulate an action plan"

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will decide today (Thursday) that the third vaccine against Corona will be given.

At the end of a meeting with Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz and senior members of the health system, he said that work on the new vaccination program would be completed today, after the Ministry of Health's epidemic treatment team recommended a third dose for adults.

"During the morning, I was presented by the Minister of Health and the Director General of his office with the considerations and recommendations of the Immunization Committee," the Prime Minister said. "These recommendations, of the Committee of Experts, are weighty.

I would like to thank all the members of the committee for their very thorough and comprehensive work.

The members of the vaccination committee have not yet reached an agreement on the age from which it will be recommended to get vaccinated, whether from the age of 65 or 70, and the issue will be decided in another discussion.
