Africans, rescue us!
Those who dedicate their expendable but sordid existence to the salvation of their homelands continue to bark with the rattle that all the ills suffered by them are due to theft, vaguerity and the privileges accumulated by immigrants. They are his inexhaustible scapegoat. But I note that for many years all the people who have worked in my house have been and are foreigners. And I must have had spectacular luck with them, since they clean my dirt, make up for my organizational deficiencies and I have never verified that something disappeared from my house. They are professional, educated, effective. My shipwreck would be absolute if it weren't for the order they provide for me.
A Romanian and an Armenian woman, a Honduran and a Nicaraguan man have worked for me. They fled from harsh situations in their countries, they are experts in honest survival, they have made a living every day since they arrived, they do not complain about their luck, they do not receive state subsidies, some have had to learn a new language. They help the family they left there, they long to return sometime and in dignified conditions. One of these people treated me with delicacy and effectiveness during the months I spent in a wheelchair, faced with situations so intimidating for me such as having to help me bathe and dress. They are those people who are accused of robbery and of gobbling up the country's economy.
I also note that throughout the plague, the vast majority of the employees who served you in supermarkets were immigrants.
I perceive that there are very few natives in the hard jobs.
And I wonder what would happen in this country if immigrants decided to leave.
I no longer know if I have an ideology.
I speak in the name of common sense.
