The arrest warrant of the International Criminal Court against the former Ivorian first lady Simone Gbagbo, accused in particular of crimes against humanity during the 2010-2011 crisis was lifted Thursday evening, July 29, according to a decision consulted by AFP.

"The Chamber considers it appropriate to decide that the arrest warrant against Simone Gbagbo ceases to be effective,"
the ICC wrote in a 7-page decision.
