Angelika Schönberger's dream was always to become a kindergarten teacher - and she made it come true.
For over 40 years she worked in the Estingen Kindergarten St. Elisabeth and was even deputy director.
Now she has said goodbye to retire.
Esting - With her warm-hearted manner, she enthused children, parents and colleagues, as they say from kindergarten.
And after more than 40 years in the same facility, many a colleague is almost family.
Her first kindergarten children, whom she looked after in 1980, still remember their dear teacher from back then.
At the farewell party there were some interludes for Schönberger, for example an interview with the kindergarten reporter Marion Strohmeier, the head of the kindergarten.
It was very touching when around 100 children sang for the teacher.
There were also self-painted pictures with good wishes and many gifts from colleagues and the parents' council.
Many former colleagues had also come to say goodbye. Pastor Josef Steindlmüller thanked Angelika Schönberger for her loyalty and her great work and pronounced his blessing. even
