In a tweet published this Thursday, the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, said that he tested positive for covid-19.
Almagro says that he is vaccinated against the virus and that at the moment he does not have any symptoms.

However, the OAS secretary said he is suspending his agenda and will follow medical recommendations.
"Take care of yourselves, take care of others and, if you have the opportunity, do not hesitate to get vaccinated," Almagro wrote.
I have tested positive for # COVID19 so I immediately suspend my public schedule and am following all medical recommendations.
Fortunately I am vaccinated and at the moment I have no symptoms.
