Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community to take decisive measures and pressure the Israeli occupation to stop its continuing crimes against the Palestinians and hold those responsible to account.
The ministry explained in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that the silence of the international community on the crimes of the occupation, and contentment with some formal statements of condemnation, and the failure to implement UN resolutions, encourages the occupation to commit more crimes, the most recent of which was the shooting of a Palestinian child at the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron yesterday, and a young man at the Beta junction. south of Nablus the day before yesterday.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry stressed the need for the UN Security Council to bear its legal and moral responsibilities, to put an end to Israel’s impunity and rebellion against international law, and for the International Criminal Court to immediately begin its investigations into the violations and crimes of the occupation, and to hold those responsible accountable.
