During their meeting with Zadeh, members of the committees' offices stressed the need to work to strengthen cooperation between Syria and Iran at all levels, coordinate on issues of common interest, activate mutual meetings and visits, and benefit from the Iranian experience in facing the economic blockade, self-reliance and achieving self-sufficiency.

The members commended the political and economic support provided by the Iranian side to Syria in the face of the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on the Syrian people, indicating that the pressures on the Syrian and Iranian peoples come within the Zionist-American scheme targeting the countries of the axis of resistance, but victory will inevitably be the ally of this axis.

Zadeh indicated that the delegation discussed with Syrian officials issues of common interest and previous agreements to increase the volume of economic cooperation, improve parliamentary work, invest the energies and capabilities of the two countries, and increase the volume of trade exchange between the two sides.
