The dance-theatrical show entitled "Contact", which was presented by Miral Troupe on the stage of Al-Hamra Theater over three days, formed a special artistic case that relied on body language and harmony between the dancers to convey the saying of the show based on the idea of communication between people from different human relationships.

The show, which was produced by the Directorate of Theaters and Music, is an idea and directed by Jamal Turkmani, who participated in the performance of some of his paintings and designed it in cooperation with the designer and dancer Mohamed Traboulsi.

The show was able to take advantage of modern technologies through a giant display screen that divided the stage into two parts, to be sometimes transparent because of the dance performance behind it, and in other times it was shown compositions of graphics and images, and it was an essential element within the design of the six paintings, which were presented within a homogeneous dramatic context .

Regarding the idea of the show, Turkmani said in a statement to SANA, “The idea came from the reality we live in, from the lack of communication even within the same family as a result of the invasion of technology and our dependence on social media as an alternative to real and tangible communication,” noting that each show has its own way of choreography, based on the idea he presents. .

Turkmani continued, "I took off in this show from the idea and started building a small text for it, and then I smashed the word and turned it into a movement. I always put the audience within my accounts when designing any show because we present our work to them and we are among them in the end and it is impossible to stay away from their taste, ideas and lives in what we offer so that we can reach them and obtain They like it.”

Turkmani finds that we have an audience for dance theater and is able to analyze the vocabulary of the show and approach its content, pointing out that the Miral Troupe aspires to globalism and works to reach that through its performances without hurry.

In turn, the designer and dancer Traboulsi explained that the show included 18 dancers, who are students and graduates of the dance department at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, in addition to students of various departments from the university education stage, indicating that the use of modern technologies came in harmony with the contemporary dance presented to serve the idea of the show, wishing the delivery of Syrian dance. Contemporary to global.

It is noteworthy that the Miral Dance Theater Company was founded in 2015 and participated in the Contemporary Dance Festival in Algeria in 2019, and won a rank among the three best performances in the festival among 12 international bands participating.
