The No. 8 container terminal automation project started at the end of 2019. Manually controlled container loading and unloading work in the crane cab was changed to full remote operation.

There are currently 15 remote cranes operating in 12 container yards, accounting for nearly 20% of the overall container yard. The number will increase to 17 by the end of this year, with an investment of tens of millions of yuan.
