Developed for the South American markets and presented last year, the Nivus will be called Taigo in Europe.
Based on the MQB AO platform, this new model will be placed at the top of urban SUVs.
At 4.26 m long, it exceeds the T-Cross by 160 mm and the Polo by 200 mm.
The T-Roc even gives it back 30 mm, to the point of passing the Taigo for its cut variation.
This impression is confirmed with the elusive roof silhouette lowered by 60 mm (1.49 m) compared to the T-Roc and marked by the strong inclination of the rear window.
Volkswagen muddies the waters a bit: the Taigo's wheelbase (2,566 mm) is greater than that of the T-Cross but less than that of the T-Roc.
