Impfling:
"Pretty nice incentive, a $ 100 voucher!"
The voucher is available here in return for a vaccination against Covid-19.

“I've had cancer before.
So I thought if I do something with my grandchildren, that's the best I can do! "
The increase in cases with the more contagious delta variant is also causing people to rethink.
Dustin Goettsch, Impfling
"I didn't get vaccinated at first because I was worried about the vaccines, because this pandemic was so new."
In the meantime, however, it is becoming increasingly clear that the vaccines are reliable and are already protecting 160 million people in the USA from severe or fatal courses of Covid-19.
In many states with comparatively low vaccination rates, the numbers are now rising noticeably faster.
Hospital admissions are also increasing again, increasingly with younger patients as well.
Reason enough for US President Joe Biden to restart the stalled vaccination campaign.
He appealed to states and local politicians to use Corona aid funds to reward every U.S. citizen with $ 100 for a full vaccination.
Joe Biden, US President
“I know paying people to get vaccinated might sound unfair to those who have already been vaccinated.
But it is like this: if incentives help us defeat this virus, then we should use them.
We will all benefit when more people are vaccinated. "
Biden wants to introduce mandatory vaccination for millions of government employees.
More and more private companies such as Google or Facebook will also require their employees to provide proof of vaccination in the future.
Joe Biden, US President
“The Justice Department has made it clear that it is legal (for businesses) to request Covid-19 vaccination records.
We all want our lives to go back to normal.
And with fully vaccinated workplaces that will happen faster and more successfully. "
According to disease experts, the vaccination rates in the USA are not yet sufficient to prevent another serious wave of the disease in the country. To date, more than 612,000 people in the US have officially died from the pandemic.
