Dachau - 156 pupils took their final exams at the Dachau Realschule - and all of them passed.
What many considered impossible in times of homeschooling during the corona pandemic - this year's Dachau secondary school graduates have proven them wrong.
Even the cut was “better than usual”, emphasized the headmistress Tanja Huber.
"You have shown stamina", praised Huber at the graduation ceremony, which was divided into several groups so that the six 10th grades could take part in the handing over of certificates together with their parents.
The headmistress hoped that “we have prepared a solid foundation for your life and that we have given you respect, tolerance, punctuality, care and team spirit”.
Huber also encouraged the young women and men to “dare to try new things” and also have the confidence to “take responsibility for others.”

Dachau's mayor Kai Kühnel encouraged the graduates to go their own way.
Above all, one on which you would find “passion and heart and soul”.
In her speech, the chairwoman of the parents' council, Daniela Seidel, also praised the fact that the 156 graduates had not let the virus get them down.
Now they could “reach for the stars and keep their dreams”.
The SMV had shot a film especially for their outgoing classmates, which was shown at the celebration.
Musically, a choir of teachers and trainees provided a wonderful setting.
It also got emotional shortly before the certificates were handed over, when the BWR and sports teacher Christian Raschbichler recalled the lockdown when they had “been talking into a box all the time”.
In addition, the teachers did not know what to expect after homeschooling.
Full of pride and with tears in his eyes, Raschbichler expressed his pride in his protégés of the 10b before he and Tanja Huber presented them with the certificates.
The best at school are Eugenie Siekmann with the best average score of 1.08, Vanessa Hoffmann (1.09) and Christina Kasmann (1.27).
