Former PSdi parliamentarian Paolo Romeo was sentenced to 25 years of imprisonment by the Court of Reggio Calabria (president Silvia Capone) at the conclusion of the "Gotha" trial.
Thirteen years were imposed on the former regional undersecretary Alberto Sarra.
Instead, former Forza Italia senator Antonio Caridi and former president of the Province of Reggio Calabria Giuseppe Raffa were acquitted.
After more than four years of hearings, the trial for the defendants who chose the ordinary rite ended.
Of the thirty defendants, 15 were convicted and 15 acquitted.
