The first 29 room air purifiers have already been in operation in the rooms of the final classes and the teachers' rooms of the elementary and middle schools since the end of the Whitsun holidays.
Fürstenfeldbruck - The city is now ordering a further 88 devices - including two for day-care centers.
The contract was awarded to the Schönhammer company from Mengkofen at a gross price of around 366,000 euros.
The city has submitted a funding application for a total of 154 devices.
Funding of up to 269,500 euros is in prospect.
You can expect a subsidy of up to 70,000 euros for the daycare equipment.
The company had promised to deliver the devices by the end of August, Mayor Erich Raff reported to the city council.
"Then all the rooms will be equipped by the start of the school year." And there are funds left over for further equipment, as a little fewer air purifiers than originally assumed were ordered after an inspection.
“Fürstenfeldbruck is a pioneer”, praised applicant Mirko Pötzsch (SPD).
“The devices are top quality.” He wanted to know whether the funding only applies to local daycare centers or also to other material cost providers.
Because then they too could think about filter devices.
After the application deadline for daycare rooms was extended to the end of the year, Alexa Zierl (ÖDP) suggested asking the facilities again.
There is a budget for it.
