Defense Minister Agustín Rossi warned this Friday that he will not lower his list as a candidate for national senator for the Frente de Todos in the province of Santa Fe, and affirmed that he is "not aware" that Vice President Cristina Kirchner "has agreed" with the provincial president Omar Perotti the closure of the Peronist list for the legislative elections this year.

because the reality is that I never approached Kirchnerism to see how a list is put together in a certain district but because of the system of ideas, the forms or the political approach that (former president) Néstor (Kirchner) and Cristina had ".
Regarding his candidacy, Rossi pointed out: "During this year
I began to see things
in the government of the province of Santa Fe that was not that they turned on a red light, but they did turn on a yellow light that later turned orange" .
"That clearly led me to make the decision to participate. There is an intention of the governor (Omar Perotti), whom we emphatically support to win the elections in 2019, to move closer to the Córdoba model," he argued.

Along these lines, the Defense Minister explained: "The Córdoba model has distances from the policies of the national government, and as a consequence, there is a Peronism, a Justicialist Party, away from the Frente de Todos or outside the Frente de Todos."
"I do not think that this is the best way for Santa Fe, because it is a
province that has many problems and needs the joint work of all,"
