President Alberto Fernández and the delegation that traveled to Peru to witness the inauguration of President Pedro Castillo were preventively isolated.
This was reported by spokesmen for the Presidency, who indicated that "despite being exempted by Administrative Decision 683/2021, they are being held in isolation in a preventive manner."
In addition, they specified that both the head of state and the delegation "are monitored by the presidential medical unit."
