- It won't take long: The first open air beer garden will start next Thursday at the Alten Wirt in Goldach.
On three evenings (with entertainment), organizer Stefan Panhauser from Isen will present top-class artists from Bavaria.
An evening to sing along with Michael Benker
The musician Michael Benker will kick off next Thursday, August 5th.
Under the motto “Austro meets Bavaria”, Erdinger brings songs by Austrian greats such as STS, Wolfgang Ambros, Peter Cornelius and Reinhard Fendrich onto the stage - mixed with hits from the Spider Murphy Gang, Willy Michl and one or two German hits.
He doesn't need a lot of technology, he just relies on his singing and guitar.
"An evening to sing along, with a great atmosphere, but also a lot of feeling to melt away", it says in the announcement.
The concert starts at 8 p.m. and the beer garden is open from 6.30 p.m.
Protest on principle with the "sturdy skull" Weiherer
It continues a good week later, on Friday, August 13th, with the Lower Bavarian songwriter Christoph Weiherer.
With guitar, harmonica and unbridled mouth, he presents his program “In principle in protest”.
His art moves between music cabaret, songwriting, quirky stories and political activism, peppered with curious everyday observations, sharp-tongued criticism and hearty sayings.
“A fascinating stubborn skull with the sneaky giggle of Boandlkramer, intelligent lyrics, rousing music and terrific, snappy humor.
Mostly politically incorrect, often mercilessly funny, but always courageous, ”writes the organizer.
The recital begins at 8 p.m., admission is from 6.30 p.m.
Primatons promise power and grace
The grand finale on Saturday, August 21st, will be the “PrimaTonnen” Edeltraud Rey and Betinna von Haken.
The two have been touring together since 2006 and have been on stages all over Germany ever since.
Their latest program "Einreyen und Abhaken" is dedicated to the absurdities and adversities of (artist) life and presents a colorful mix of comedy, cabaret and music - with puns, force and grace, with charming, malicious songs and dry black humor.
