The British Ministry of Defense said today (Friday) that an Israeli-owned cargo ship had been attacked in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Oman.
According to the Ministry of Defense, it is still investigating the incident reported by the UK Maritime Trade Service.
According to the service, the incident occurred during the night, northeast of the island of Oman.
In recent months, several Israeli-owned ships in the Indian Ocean and other shipping lanes have been attacked in operations attributed to Iran, as part of the naval campaign between the countries first reported earlier this year.
According to foreign reports, since 2019, Israel has attacked several Iranian vessels transporting oil and weapons to Syria and Lebanon.
