The city of Mazatlán, in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, announced that all people who wish to enter closed places such as restaurants or cinemas must show a certificate of vaccination against covid-19.
The mayor, Guillermo Benítez Torres, said that this measure does not violate the right of people not to want to be vaccinated.
With this implementation, Mazatlán joins other cities in Mexico that apply some type of similar measure to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
