The young man, Muhammad Ahmed Al-Saeedi, is no longer afraid of not getting a job opportunity that would secure his livelihood, preserve his dignity, and help him chart the features of a new life that would achieve his goals and ambitions.

A clear effort and hard work by the young Saidi, who was paralyzed with his left hand, but he made with his right hand a story of success and uniqueness that most of the visitors to the International Flower Exhibition, which is held by the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with the Governorate of Damascus in its 41st session in Tishreen Park, where he presented during his participation in the exhibition various types of food and dishes The delicacy, which he prepared with one hand, was well received by visitors.

Al-Saedi explained, during his interview with SANA’s delegate, that he was injured while fighting in the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army and confronting armed terrorist organizations in Aleppo, and his left hand was paralyzed by 50 percent, as he stayed about a year and a half at home receiving treatment and spending long hours browsing books and observing his mother and wife while preparing Food, according to his expression, so he learned from them the arts of cooking and the principles of working with it, and made his decision after his recovery to start a small project, “preparing and selling Syrian home food,” and he announced it through a page on the “Facebook” website, and he received great support from the pioneers of social networking sites, some of whom have become his permanent customers. .

Al-Saedi, who converted part of his house into a small kitchen for the project, in which he prepares various types of food, including kebabs, pancakes, and ponds of all kinds, in addition to sweets. His main occupation is sewing.

“There is no weak person. Every human being is capable of giving, working and succeeding. My injury was an incentive to work and return to the classroom. This year, I applied for the basic education certificate exam and got a good total. I will strive to continue my education to get high school and in the future be able to develop my skills and expand my project.” This is what Al-Saeedi said, confirming that his injury was a badge of honor on his chest.

Al-Saidi continues that he found in the exhibition an opportunity to introduce his dishes and search for new customers by expanding his circle of acquaintances and friends, pointing out that the wounded in the army, including them, did not stop working and producing despite their injury. Despair and despondency, but rather by drawing a new life with work and production.
