Only two months ago the local council unanimously decided to designate new building areas in the Oberhachingen industrial park, now the development plan has also been unanimously approved so that the planning can proceed as quickly as possible.

Oberhaching

- The aim is to secure future investments by the community as well as the maintenance and staffing of childcare facilities, schools or investments in renewable energy. The last time the municipality designated a building site in the industrial park in 1998, namely the Bajuwarenring, which is now to be expanded in the direction of the M11. A total of around three hectares are planned. There, divided into two adjacent areas of 1.2 hectares each, commercial space will be created. According to Mayor Stefan Schelle (CSU), the community is already talking to interested parties. A spur road from Bajuwarenring provides the necessary development between the two areas. A turning hammer is planned at the end of the street. With the location of the area in the north, additional traffic is not led unnecessarily deep into the existing industrial park. As an option, there is also another roundabout on the M11 at the level of the entrance to the Kugler Alm as a direct additional connection to the industrial park.

Compensation areas for recreation

A compensation area is planned in the north of the area, which could later also be used by the employees there as a recreational area.

Margit Markl (SPD) suggested creating a meadow similar to that at Infineon, where people can relax on benches.

Kevin Terzi (Greens) pointed out that when choosing the trees to be planted, one should pay attention to the selection of the species so that they can cope well with drought.

Valentina Eckel (Greens) demanded that the use of photovoltaics should be determined. Schelle explained that this is legally problematic because you have to name specific numbers in a development plan and this is not possible due to the different roofs that are being built there. “But the companies have all this on their radar,” he assured.
