What is the history? A terrorist group hijacks a plane and forces the pilot to head to a crowded soccer stadium. Against the explicit orders of his commander, a pilot shoots down the aircraft before it crashes in the stadium and avoids the attack. After saving the lives of thousands of spectators but having sacrificed the passengers on board the plane, the pilot must face charges for his actions in court. , but they must also be the ones who vote and decide whether or not they are guilty. Depending on the decision, the end will be one or the other.
Obsessed with arguing about the moral viability of various situations, Ferdinand von Shirach was also a criminal lawyer and author of renowned works such as the volumes of short stories Crime and Guilt, and the novel 'The Collini case'.
The film is divided into three parts, the first will see the trial and the other two, the two possible endings.
