President Yitzhak Herzog arrives this morning (Friday) to be vaccinated in the third dose against the corona virus at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who accompanies the president at the time of receiving the vaccine, announced last night the launch of the third vaccination campaign for people aged 60 and over, and that Herzog will be the first to be vaccinated to encourage the population to cooperate.
Meanwhile, Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sarah are also expected to be vaccinated third increment later in the day.
Earlier this morning, HMO Maccabi and Meuhedet begun to vaccinate people aged 60 and older, to take advantage of vaccines expiring soon.
