After leaving the court, many members of the public suspected that they wanted to send their prisoner wagons. They stayed at the flyover between Pacific Place and Admiralty Plaza and the tram stop opposite the High Court. However, a large number of police officers arrived and drove away soon, and the crowd eventually dispersed. However, there was a single stamp on the ground with a photo of Chen Guangchi, the judge designated by the National Security Law of the District Court, and his telephone number.

The High Court opens two floors as an extended court

Although the court only sentenced the case at 3 o'clock this afternoon, at 9 o'clock in the morning, members of the public had lined up outside the low-level entrance of the High Court. Before the opening of the trial, more than 100 members of the public had come to the court to listen to the results.

In addition to opening the public space on the 3rd floor as an extension of the courtroom, the High Court also opened the 5th floor to broadcast the situation in the courtroom.

A large number of police officers guarded and dispersed the crowd in the vicinity of the High Court.

Someone who wanted to stay at the Pacific Place flyover was dispersed

After hearing the court’s ruling, some people walked towards the flyover at Pacific Place. The flyover was just right for the prisoner vehicle to leave the High Court. Some suspected to stay there and wait for the prisoner vehicle to leave. About 10 uniformed police officers arrived shortly afterwards. They also used loudspeakers to warn the public that they had the opportunity to violate the gathering restriction order and were not allowed to stay. Some police officers used video cameras to film the scene, and the public eventually dispersed.

In addition to the overpass, police officers also intercepted about 10 people at the tram station under the bridge and pulled up an orange belt to prevent reporters from approaching.

During the period, there was a leaflet on the ground that printed Chen Guangchi, the judge designated by the National Security Law of the District Court, except for the name of Chen Guan, a mobile phone number and a photo of Chen Guan.

Most of the people at the tram station were released after interception and inspection. Only one woman was taken into a police car because she did not bring her ID card.

Chen Guan earlier revealed that the official phone was nuisance

The High Court has long issued an injunction order prohibiting others from unauthorized use, publication or disclosure of the personal data of judicial officers and their family members, including telephone numbers.

During the trial of a riot case earlier, Guan Chen revealed that his official phone number was harassed and urged law enforcement agencies to follow up.
