Schwabhausen - The community of Schwabhausen thanked their volunteer school helpers.
The helpers enjoyed coffee, cake or a delicious ice cream on the terrace of Pizzeria Taormina.
Mayor Wolfgang Hörl is thrilled that Schwabhausen is so well positioned in this area, which is ultimately also thanks to the main organizer Susanne Keller, who has been active for seven years.
“The safest way to school is not the one with your parents' SUV,” emphasizes Hörl.
A good 60 school helpers are available in Schwabhausen who coordinate 15 missions per week.
Currently, the conditions are “some of the best that she has ever had,” says Susanne Keller.
For the first time, training courses with the Dachau police station took place before the summer holidays.
In addition, there is a separate training course exclusively for the community, so the start on September 14th couldn't be more optimal.
Just in time for the start of the school year, the entire team is available for voluntary work, and the substitution in the event of missed appointments is well arranged.
