This Thursday, the Colombian Army reported through a statement that an operation is currently underway against the head of a FARC dissidence known as Gentil Duarte.

The authorities added that the operation is carried out between the departments of Meta and Caquetá, where the Army, National Navy and Air Force are in pursuit.

According to the authorities, Gentil Duarte was located in a house in the village of El Camuya, rural area of ​​San Vicente del Caguán, while carrying out drug trafficking coordination.

The National Government of Colombia offers a reward of up to 2,000 million Colombian pesos for Gentil Duarte, who has a red circular from Interpol.
