The patrols of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus organized two judicial arrests against an office and a transport company, in violation of charging an extra price and refraining from cutting except for a high price at the departure center in Damascus.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus, Eng. Uday Muhammad Shibli, stated that the supply police, through its presence in the travel centers between the governorates, received complaints from citizens about charging an extra price, and it caught several violations, including charging an extra price for travel tickets, whether they were between the governorates or within the organizational boundaries of the city of Damascus It was addressed and legal action was taken against the violators.
Shibli noted the importance of citizens communicating with the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection to file complaints against violators, stressing that the supply control elements are fully prepared around the clock to receive and address complaints.
