Tokyo: Hannah Knyazeva-Minenko set a time of 14.36 and will most likely be in the final
Although the Israeli triple jumper did not set the result that automatically advances to the final and stands at 14.40 meters, she equaled her result of the year in the third jump and this should be enough for her to be among the top 12.

A busy and successful day for Israeli athletics in Tokyo.
Hannah Knyazeva-Minenko, whose personal best in the triple jump is 14.78 meters, will try to rise despite poor ability in recent years and a number of injuries in the past, to set the minimum of 14.40 meters to reach the triple jump final.
31-year-old Knyazeva-Minenko is participating in the Olympics for the third time after representing Ukraine in 2012 and finishing in fourth place and in Rio 2016 under the Israeli flag she was in fifth place.

In her first attempt, Knyazeva-Minenko set a result of 14.27 meters, a result that is currently unclear whether it will be enough.
In the second attempt, she had already set 14.35, a result that should be enough for her unless something unusual and particularly surprising happens.
In her third jump, Knyazeva-Minenko passed 14.36 meters, equaled her result of the year and further established her status as someone who is expected to reach the final.
