A shooting broke out Thursday evening July 29 in Aussillon, a small town in Tarn, causing two serious injuries, AFP learned on Friday from a source close to the investigation.
Exchanges of shots took place, there were three wounded, two of which were serious,

The two injured, one of whom was shot in the lung, were transferred to a hospital in Toulouse.
The third injured was hit by a shot.
Investigators were on Friday looking for the suspected gunner (s) and the vehicle in which they fled.
The facts took place around 11:30 p.m. on the market square, located near a group of buildings.
Is there a link between the shots and a violent argument which arose around 9:00 p.m. in Aussillon?
The police are trying to determine the circumstances of the shooting, using CCTV images of this town of 6,000 inhabitants, adjacent to Mazamet.
