At that time there was a funding program for mobile units for classrooms in which ventilation is not possible.
However, the requirements for this program were not met.
Now the situation looks different, because the state government recently launched a renewed funding program with which the municipal and private material cost providers are financially supported if they equip their schools with the appropriate devices for "infection protection-appropriate ventilation".
Mobile devices and decentralized ventilation systems for classrooms and specialist rooms would be funded.
The state funding share is up to 50 percent, the maximum amount per room is 1750 euros.
You have to calculate around 4,000 euros per device, explained Nagler.
All parents of school-age children are likely to have noticed in recent months that distance learning is far from learning.

"So far, the community and the primary school have been of the opinion that mobile air purification devices are not required, as there is sufficient ventilation in the classrooms and function rooms," said the mayor.
The politicians - most recently Prime Minister Markus Söder and Minister of Education Michael Piazolo - recommend the procurement "emphatically".
“Even if ventilation will then still be necessary, we see it as a building block to increase safety in the school.
We cannot judge to what extent, but we hope to be able to stabilize the face-to-face teaching.
Because all parents of school-age children should have noticed in the past few months: Distance learning is far from learning, ”said Nagler.
In addition, it cannot be ruled out that classroom teaching will only be possible with a ventilation device in the classroom from autumn onwards.
And then it would be “a really worrying situation” if you had to offer homeschooling because you hadn't bought any ventilation systems.
The panel agreed with this opinion.

And Otto Kellermann (AfD) added that more and more children are suffering from allergies.
The filter devices are also a good solution for pollen allergy sufferers.

At the suggestion of Lex, the staff room will also be equipped with mobile ventilation - the municipality will buy a total of 16 units.
In the tendering process, the follow-up costs for maintenance, for example, should also be taken into account.

He also warned of dubious offers, which had recently been made more frequently in the corona pandemic.
And Anneliese Ways (SPD / party-free) noted that the locations for the devices in the individual rooms had to be checked very carefully so that they would not become viruses.
The device probing is currently running.
Since they want to be procured promptly and the next municipal council meeting is not planned until the end of September, the municipal council authorized the mayor to award the contract to the most economical bidder.
Despite the currently higher demand, Nagler is confident that he will get the devices on time for the new school year, as he replied to a question from Werner Fleischer (BE): “The state government speaks of 60,000 that will be needed by September.
