Erding - On August 1st, the members of the BRK district association Erding should have chosen a new chairman.

For the second time within a short time.

Nothing will come of this for the time being.

Erding - The attempt of the BRK district association Erding to elect a new chairman, which is rich in twists, goes into the next round. On August 1st, the previous vice-president, Jürgen Loher, should have been elected to head the organization. But the BRK has to cancel this ballot - for formal legal reasons. Loher is already the second deputy chairman and has only recently been confirmed in this position. The BRK statutes, however, stipulate that a board member may not hold two offices. As a result, the entrepreneur first has to step down as a runner-up in order to be able to be elected to the top.

As is well known, CSU District Councilor Franz Hofstetter failed completely by surprise in the first election, although there was not even an opposing candidate.

Thereupon the members decided in a second ballot only to redefine the office of chairman and not to repeat the entire election.

At least the result has now been determined: Andreas Lindner, Jürgen Loher (Vice-Chair), Treasurer Christian Berther, Representative: Manfred Herzog, Head physician: Ulrich Exner, Deputy: PD Dr.

Lorenz Bott-wing, legal counsel Bernd Grimm.

According to BRK spokeswoman Danuta Pfanzelt, this board will soon be constituted and a by-election for the chairman will be scheduled.

Before that, Loher will step down as vice-president.

There is not yet a date for the likely final ballot.
