According to the African Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the number of deaths caused by the virus on the continent has reached 169,280 people, and 5,845,926 people have recovered.
She pointed out that South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt and Ethiopia are the most affected countries in the brown continent in terms of the number of confirmed cases.
