Documentation: Detainees in a mass brawl at a luxury hotel in Jerusalem
Guests at the Herbert Samuel Hotel threw chairs and objects at receptionists in the hotel lobby following a dispute that developed between the parties.

A violent brawl broke out tonight (Saturday) in the lobby of the luxury hotel "Herbert Samuel" in Jerusalem between hotel employees and guests, during which chairs and objects were thrown.
Police forces were called to a hotel in downtown Jerusalem following a report of a brawl that developed at the place between several guests and hotel employees.
At the end of the incident, several workers were evacuated for medical treatment, and damage was caused to property from a hotel.
Police forces arrested seven suspects, residents of Rishon Lezion, and detained another suspect.
They were taken to the police station for further investigation.
From an initial examination, the background to the incident, apparently, is a conflict between those involved.

The hotel staff refused to comment on the circumstances of the incident, but wanted to emphasize that it was an "extremely extreme and unusual event, which does not characterize what was happening at the hotel."
