Today, Iraqi forces arrested seven terrorists in Kirkuk Governorate, in the north of the country.
The Iraqi News Agency, Waa, quoted the Security Media Cell in Iraq as saying that the arrested terrorists were responsible for the "logistical support" of the organization in the governorate.
And earlier today, the Iraqi security forces announced that they had embarked on large-scale operations to establish security and stability in the southernmost province of Basra, which resulted in the arrest of four wanted men and the seizure of quantities of weapons and ammunition stores.
The Iraqi forces had earlier killed a leader of the terrorist organization "ISIS" in Hamrin Hills, Diyala Governorate, northeast of Baghdad.
