The first tenants of the new communal residential building on Wilhelm-Keim-Strasse in Grünwald can move in as early as August.

- "It is a further building block in order to be able to offer employees of the community as well as volunteers inexpensive living space, and thus to keep them in place," said Mayor Jan Neusiedl when handing over the keys.
As he reported, the property was acquired by the municipality in 2016, and a year later the municipal council decided to build an apartment building with an underground car park there.
The topping-out ceremony was celebrated in autumn last year, and despite the difficult situation due to Corona, the residential building was completed on time.
Five two- to four-room rental apartments
The total of five two- to four-room rental apartments between 59 and 106 square meters are connected to the geothermal system and the photovoltaic system on the roof covers almost the entire general electricity requirement for the house. The underground car park has ten parking spaces, two of which are pre-equipped for e-charging stations. In addition to two small gardens for the tenants on the ground floor, there is also a community garden and a playground, all separated from Südliche Münchner Strasse by a soundproof fence.
