The Italian coast guard took several people from the private sea rescue ship "Sea-Watch 3" because of their poor health.
Hours earlier, the Sea-Watch crew requested help from Malta and Italy, the Berlin-based organization Sea-Watch announced on Saturday night.
There were also children among the six people, it said.
Some would have burns on the body.
The “Sea-Watch 3” team took almost 100 boat migrants in distress in the central Mediterranean on board on Friday and Friday night in several rescue operations.
The "Ocean Viking" of the private organization SOS Mediterranee and the "Astral" of the volunteers from Open Arms are currently operating in the Mediterranean.
According to its own statements, the "Ocean Viking" came to the aid of more than 50 people in the Libyan search and rescue zone who were in distress with their rubber dinghy on Saturday morning.

Accordingly, there were women and children among the people.
Most of them were from Cameroon and Ghana.
At noon and in the afternoon, the volunteers rescued almost 120 people in two missions.
A total of around 175 boat migrants are now on board the ship.
In the central Mediterranean, the organizations repeatedly meet refugees and migrants who want to reach the EU in often overcrowded boats.
The destinations of the people, who mostly leave from Tunisia or Libya, are often Italy or Malta.
