Part of the location is now a green area

The proposed teaching building of the University of Hong Kong is located on Sassoon Road, adjacent to the Xinguang Home and School for the Blind and the University of Hong Kong Li Ka-shing Faculty of Medicine building.

The site area is approximately 176,000 square feet. It is now government land and is zoned "Green Belt".

The proposed teaching building of the University of Hong Kong will have 4 buildings with 3, 5 and 9 stories high.
