"After further consultation with the medical staff, Simone Biles has decided to withdraw from the jump and uneven bars finals. She will continue to be evaluated daily to determine if she will compete in the floor and balance beam finals," USA Gymnastics reported in their social networks.

Days ago, Biles explained that her withdrawal from the women's team event, her first resignation in Tokyo 2020, was due to "demons in her head" and indicated her intention to take care of her "mental health".
