Affected by the active southwesterly airstream, there are still occasional heavy showers and thunderstorms along the south China coast today.

It is expected that showers along the coast of Guangdong will be slightly reduced in the next one or two days, but a trough of low pressure will once again bring unstable weather to the area in the middle of the week.

Due to a burst of water pipes, the entire line of He Kwai Lane (round trip direction) in Kwai Chung has now been closed.

The affected bus routes must be diverted.

Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Kowloon City

In order to cope with the road works, a section of unnamed road between Chengnan Road and Longgang Road will be temporarily closed from 10 am on July 31, 2021 to 6 am on August 2, 2021.

Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Kwun Tong District

To cope with the road works, the authorities will implement the following temporary traffic arrangements in Kwun Tong from 8 am to 11 am on August 1, 2021: The section of Tung Yan Street between Yue Man Square and Kwun Tong Road will be temporarily closed and prohibited All vehicles enter; and the unnamed road between Hong Ning Road and Tung Yan Street will be temporarily closed to prohibit all vehicles from entering.

Affected vehicles travelling from Tung Yan Street (southbound) to Kwun Tong Road (eastbound) will be diverted via Yue Man Square (westbound) and Hong Ning Road (southbound); Kwun Tong Road (eastbound) to Yu Man Square (westbound) ) Affected vehicles will be diverted via Kwun Tong Road roundabout, Hip Wo Street (northbound) and Tung Yan Street (westbound).

Temporary traffic arrangements on Cheung Sha Wan Road from today to the end of February next year

To cope with the road works, Cheung Sha Wan Road will implement the following temporary traffic and transportation arrangements from August 1, 2021 to February 28, 2022, from 10 pm to 6 am daily:

Part of the midline of Cheung Sha Wan Road (westbound) between Tung Chau West Street and Cheung Lai Street will be temporarily closed to prohibit all vehicles from entering.

Accompanying series of public transportation arrangements

i. The bus stop of KMB Route 60X on Cheung Sha Wan Road (westbound) near Cheung Lai Street will be temporarily moved westward from its original location by about 80 meters;

ii. The bus stop of KMB Route 52X, 265B, 270B and 286C on Cheung Sha Wan Road (westbound) near Cheung Lai Street will be temporarily moved westward from its original location by about 70 meters;

iii. The bus stop of KMB Route 68X and 69X located on Cheung Sha Wan Road (westbound) near Cheung Lai Street will be temporarily moved westward from its original location by about 60 meters;

iv. KMB Routes 2A, 2X, 6, 6D, 40, 40A, 86 and Tunnel No. 102, 171, 904, 905, 905A, N122 and N171 on Cheung Sha Wan Road (westbound) near Cheung Lai Street The bus stop will be temporarily moved westward from its original location by about 45 meters; and

v. The bus stop of KMB Routes 2B, 2E, 72, 86A, 86C and 214 on Cheung Sha Wan Road (westbound) near Cheung Lai Street will be temporarily moved westward from its original location by about 50 meters.
