Damage to 10 dunums of fruit trees as a result of a fire that broke out in the western countryside of Homs

Today, civil defense elements, in cooperation with the extinguishing of the Homs Agriculture Directorate, put out a fire that affected fruitful trees in the villages of Al-Marana and Awtan in the western countryside of Homs.

Brigadier General Ghiath Akil, Director of Civil Defense in Homs, stated that a fire broke out with dry herbs and fruit trees as a result of an electrical short circuit.

Aqel pointed out that the affected area is up to ten dunums planted with apple, peach and vine trees.
