On the occasion of the seventy-sixth anniversary of the founding of the Syrian Arab Army, General Ali Abdullah Ayoub, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, accompanied by a number of General Command officers, visited the wounded of our valiant armed forces at Tishreen Military Hospital, where he checked on their health conditions and praised their heroism and determination. He wished them a speedy recovery and their families good health.
General Ayoub valued the efforts exerted and made by the military medical cadres since the beginning of the terrorist war imposed on Syria, stressing that these great efforts are the guarantee of success and continuity in performing the national duty that serves the country, its elevation and highness.
In turn, the doctors affirmed that they will remain fully prepared to enable them to do what is dictated by their national duty to provide health care for the wounded and injured and to provide specialized medical cadres with a high degree of training and professionalism capable of dealing with patients and our wounded heroes.
In this context, our armed forces of all kinds celebrated the seventy-sixth anniversary of the founding of the Syrian Arab Army, and the leaders of units and formations gave speeches in which they indicated that the anniversary of the establishment of the Syrian Arab Army was and still is a title of victory.
In their words, the leaders stressed that the Syrian Arab people, who throughout history destroyed all conspiracies and sacrificed everything in defense of the homeland, its pride and dignity, will triumph today over terrorism, its tools and supporters.
The leaders concluded their words by emphasizing that Syria is on the path of steadfastness and victory under the leadership of President General Bashar al-Assad, until the liberation of every inch of the homeland and the restoration of security and stability to its territory.
On this occasion, sports and military parades were held.
In addition, the commanders of the military regions visited the shrines of the martyrs, laid wreaths in the name of President Lieutenant-General Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces on the memorials, recited Al-Fatihah for the pure souls of the martyrs and performed the official salute.
